Neuro-Ball is a pinball roguelite.

Defeat the enemies to reach the next level and powerup your damage, speed, bounciness or to obtain new abilities!

This version is for the Neuro-sama Game Jam 2. I made the assets and the code during the 72 hours, i'm not an expert in game developing but i was able to do pretty much everything i had in mind for the limited amount of time. I would've liked to add more pinball layouts and a customization for the ball but i'm ok with how it turned out.

I didn't had enough time to actually test the game so there will be bugs and is not balanced at all

Ty for playing! Bye

I'm aware! The colliders needed a little bit more tweaking...

Thank you for playing!

interesting concept, but implementation seems a bit random/unfinished/unpolished

- i was in level 3, and at some point it just said game over, even though there was no indication of what was wrong. the ball definitely wasn't shot by an arrow from the clown (maybe there should be an HP bar for the ball too?)

- also, i chose 2 times the paddle size upgrade, so the ball couldn't fall down anymore. but rather the ball sometimes got stuck behind the paddle and could only be rescued by shaking

- i couldn't figure out what the purpose of the falling iron beams is, they don't seem to interact at all with anything in the game

It is unfinished and unpolished, since it was made in less then 3 days for the gamejam
The hp bar on top should be the ball one, is definitley not clear and can lead to confusion on what damages you and what doesn't.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

ooooh!!! i thought it was the enemy hp :D

but that explains that half the hp was still there after level 2 with the small enemies :D

Neat game! Loved the pinball aspect combined with a roguelite. Managed to beat neuro-bread so that was nice. The shaking function is a godsend for the many times I got the pinballs stuck. (Also, the half-hp split upgrade is very fun to use.)

Thank you! I agree the shaking literally saves the game
